Investigations

This area of services we offer is difficult to quantify as every business can suffer the same types of losses (till loss, products missing, false accounting etc) but there can also be investigations required that are unique to your business. As such, we would always request a meeting with the relevant person(s) to discuss your suspicions. For an internal issue, we may need to discuss with the relevant line/senior management as well as your HR contact should you have one.

At the end of any investigation we will provide a copy of our report with recommendations and a facts- only statement. We do not take mitigating circumstances into account and we do not dismiss employees on your behalf, we will simply supply you with the information you need to determine whether the employee should face disciplinary action or summary dismissal.

We have several highly skilled investigators, they all follow the PEACE model of interviewing which we have found to be the least damaging when suspects are innocent but also the most damaging when suspects are found to have broken procedures allowing loss. 

We are able to put you in touch with either local solicitors to pursue your losses (and the cost of employing us) through civil recovery or should a police prosecution result, we would always advice to ask for compensations under the proceeds of crime act.
