Proactive Security

This is often the hardest part of our job, advising businesses of all sizes to invest in their own security before an incident as opposed to waiting until something happens, such as burglary, theft, fraud or violence in the workplace.

Proactive security is applicable to ALL companies, no matter your size. The ideal time for us to get involved is whilst you are designing new premises so that we can ‘design our crime’ and minimise risk to those premises and those in it. (BRONZE) Audits are the primary way to ensure that your security is the best it can be, we will send a security auditor to your premises who will attempt to gain access without authorisation, we will then feedback our findings to your company to show if at that point in time the security and/or other employees were alert and able to prevent access.
On the same visit, we will conduct a simple audit of your security 'control room' and feedback on whether it is following standard security guidelines, your CCTV and alarms are all in working condition and present feedback on what we believe should be changed to improve security.

(SILVER) Audits include the same as above but also include a full site physical security audit. We will ensure you are displaying the correct signage, have secure premises (pertinent to construction sites) and we may ask to speak to some employees in order to gauge how safe they feel working in that site. We will assess your goods in/out process and observe product handling.

(GOLD) Both Silver & Bronze audits are provided within our ultimate GOLD audit. The Gold audit is designed to focus on areas most common for loss, for retailers it is normally their sales/refunds and cash handling procedures as well as the physical measures from the Bronze audit. Manufacturing sites are at primary risk from a high turnover of employees, making background checks difficult for any HR department just as distribution companies are at risk from internal losses. We will seek advice from your accountants or FD as to where he/she would like us to focus our efforts.
