Company Statement

Following intensive research and analysis of crime statistics and discussions with in-house security, fraud & loss prevention teams, SFLP was created to bring together the collective knowledge of not only those in the security/fraud fields but also to assist new and SME range companies with their knowledge of losses occurring through procedural error.

Reactive Security

This is one of the most difficult areas to deal with if employees have been involved in an incident, it opens you up to court proceedings and a possible pay-out on top of losses you may have already suffered.

However, there are steps you can take to reduce your loss and assist in rehabilitating any affected employee to get your business running at 100% again.

At SFLP, we believe the most valuable asset to any company is its employees, secondly it is building and assets and finally it is profit, any employer being seen to have this the wrong way around is it risk of an unsettled workforce which in itself will cause internal losses.

So what can we do to help?

On many occasions, private businesses hesitate to contact police as they are worried about several issues, the first being that they make a statement which may place the owner of the business at blame for any incident due to insufficient security procedures. We also understand that on many occasions the cost investigating an incident that already happened can be prohibitive but rest assured, we will investigate past incidents discreetly and those responsible to your attention.

On top of this, we will assess your site and make further recommendations to ensure that your losses are minimised in the future.

Our post-incident reports are split to two levels:

PI1 – This is a basic post incident review, we will take statements from any witnesses, watch any CCTV footage you have of the incident, check that internal procedures were followed and come back to you highlighting any areas of concern.

PI2 – This in-depth post incident review includes PI1, but also adds a further degree of proactive solutions to prevent future occurrences. This can be from us providing a security handbook that should be given to all employees and new-starters/temps at induction with a signed back page to show they have read and understood the contents. We may recommend new security products but only those suitable to your business – we accept no commission from any third parties to advise on their products and have no affiliations with suppliers so you can rest assured we have your best interest in mind.
